Scorpion EXO AT960 Modular Adult Motorcycle Helmet with Bluetooth Speakers
The EXO-AT960 Modular Motorcycle Helmet has evolved from one of the most popular Adventure Motorcycle helmets on the market, the EXO-AT950. Maintaining its high value (in addition to U.S. DOT Certification), ScorpionEXO has now added the latest ECE 22.06 Safety Rating, which requires a wider range of testing than the previous 22.05 certification.
The EXO-AT960 can be used as a full-face ADV helmet with an external peak visor attached, or the peak visor can be removed for a more aerodynamic touring helmet. The oversized eye port is extremely wide for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and the modular chin bar can be conveniently flipped up. The internal drop-down Speedview sun-visor allows you to adjust to changing lighting conditions throughout the day. Additionally, the no-fog Everclear shield can be removed, and you can use the EXO-AT960 with goggles for off-road use.
The helmet's construction features three shell sizes made of Advanced Polycarbonate and dual-density EPS, resulting in a lightweight, strong, and protective design. The CAD-refined aerodynamics create a streamlined profile and balanced footprint, minimizing both lift and turbulence for a smoother, quieter, and more stable ride. The advanced multi-layer EPS provides superior energy absorption, and the channels throughout the EPS foam increase airflow.
The aero-tuned ventilation system includes one large intake vent on top, forcing cool air in while exhaust vents maximize the movement of hot air out of the helmet. The dual-position mouth vent allows the first position to act as a defroster and the second position to act as both a defroster and ventilation. The KwikWick C moisture-wicking liner fabric keeps the rider cool and dry in warm weather, and warm in cool weather. The liner is easily removable and washable, and the KwikFit 3D sculpted cheek pads accommodate most eyeglasses.
The EverClear shield offers state-of-the-art fog-free technology with an anti-scratch hardened coating and 95% UV-A and UV-B protection. ScorpionEXO's shield system pulls the shield securely against the eye port, ensuring a proper seal. The wide eye port allows for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and it can accommodate most sizes and brands of goggles when the shield is removed.
The helmet's versatility is enhanced by a tool-less face shield system that makes swapping between goggles or tinted and mirrored lenses quick and easy. The included Action Cam mounting plate provides a flat surface to mount cameras and other accessories. The comm-ready speaker pockets allow for easy installation of a favorite Bluetooth communication system.
